Thrust Ball Bearings

Thrust ball bearings are designed to withstand thrust loads when running at high speeds. They are composed of a washer-shaped ring with a raceway groove for the ball to roll. Since the ring is seat-shaped, thrust ball bearings are divided into two types: flat seat pad type and self-aligning spherical seat pad type. In addition, this type of bearing can withstand axial loads, but not radial loads.
